Autism has many positive attributes.

Individuals with autism possess a wide range of strengths and positive features that can contribute to their unique perspectives and abilities. For example - 

1. Attention to Detail: Many individuals with autism have an exceptional attention to detail. They may notice and focus on intricate patterns, small details, or specific areas of interest with great precision.

2. Enhanced Memory: Some individuals with autism have amazing memory skills, particularly when it comes to facts, dates and specific topics of interest. 

 

3. Strong Analytical Thinking: People with autism can have strong analytical thinking and great problem-solving abilities. They often do well in areas that require logical reasoning, pattern recognition, and systematic approaches.

4. Intense Focus: People with autism may exhibit intense focus and concentration on tasks or subjects that interest them. This  can lead to exceptional expertise and achievements in specific areas.

5. Creativity and Unique Perspectives: Many individuals with autism possess a vivid imagination and demonstrate creativity in various forms, such as art, music, writing, or innovative problem-solving. They can provide fresh and unique perspectives on the world around them.

But remember, each individual with autism is unique, and not all individuals will possess these strengths. Strengths and challenges vary widely among individuals with autism. Its important to understand the differences and support the individual in all the ways you can.

 

Famous people with autism (or they are thought to have autism) include - 

1. Andy Warhol (1928-1987) - American artist - famous for the pop art movement.

2. Michelangelo (1475-1564) - Italian sculptor, painter, architect, and poet. Some experts speculate that he may have displayed characteristics consistent with autism.

3. Susan Boyle (1961-present) - Scottish singer who became famous after appearing on the reality show "Britain's Got Talent" in 2009.

4. Temple Grandin (1947-present) - American animal behavior expert, professor, and advocate for autism awareness. Grandin is also an author and a famous speaker.

5. Tim Burton (1958-present) - American film director, producer, and screenwriter known for his gothic and dark fantasy style. Burton has never publicly confirmed an autism diagnosis, he has discussed experiencing social difficulties and feeling like an outsider.

6. Satoshi Tajiri (1965-present) - Japanese video game designer and creator of the Pokémon franchise.

7. Albert Einstein (1879-1955) - German theoretical physicist who formulated the theory of relativity. It is speculated that he may exhibited some traits associated with autism.

8. Dawn Prince-Hughes (1964-present) - American anthropologist, ethologist, and writer known for her work on primate behavior. She has also written about her personal experiences as an individual on the autism spectrum.

9. Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) - Austrian composer who displayed exceptional musical talent from a young age. Experts think he may have also had autism.

10. Dan Aykroyd: Canadian actor and comedian, known for his roles in "Ghostbusters" and "The Blues Brothers," has spoken about his diagnosis of Asperger's syndrome.

11. Daryl Hannah: American actress, known for her roles in films such as "Blade Runner" and "Splash," has been open about her autism diagnosis and has advocated for autism awareness.

12. Anthony Hopkins: Welsh actor, famous for his role as Hannibal Lecter in "The Silence of the Lambs," has revealed that he was diagnosed with high-functioning autism.
